I am a connector. My passion in life is to connect lawyers with other lawyers, and the right people they need, to help their law firm grow. ​
Here's why - I was born the day my father became a lawyer. My dad is a respected trial lawyer. When I was a kid he would practice his opening and closing statements to me. I grew up watching VHS tapes of Gerry Spence.
When my dad hung his shingle in 1987 I watched him do it. I didn't spend summers at summer camps. I spent summers in a law firm. Once I turned 15, I worked in his law firm organizing case files, working on pleadings, discovery, preparing him for and going to trial. You name it I've done the job in a law firm.
This is how I have 20 years of experience working in the legal industry at only 40 years old.
It's why I can confidently say I GREW UP IN A LAW FIRM and I LOVE LAWYERS (especially trial lawyers).
It's why I love to talk about referral marketing with lawyers and have been creating and producing legal podcasts since 2018.
The Rest of My Story
In the last 10 years I have worked in 4 separate 8-figure businesses, 3 of them being law firms, 2 of them were at the same time.
I spent 2 years as Chief of Staff to RJon Robins, attorney, founder or co-founder of two 8-figure businesses ($34MM & $50MM in 2024), and several more 7-figure businesses in his enterprise almost entirely focused on serving the legal industry. The company most people know RJon for is How to Manage a Small Law Firm. He has helped more lawyers grow their law firm than anyone else in this country, so being his right hand for 2 years was a true honor, helping me see what managing a law firm truly takes. RJon has singlehandedly made the biggest impact on my life - he is the reason I knew I should create First Call Friday and did it with confidence.
**My biggest professional achievement was helping RJon create and launch a business which after 18 months grossed $50M and helped 17,000 small businesses across the country.**
Before working with RJon, I spent 7 years as a legal marketing professional for an 8-figure boutique personal injury law firm handling trucking and commercial motor vehicle cases, was the voiceover talent and producer of the award-winning Trial Lawyer Nation podcast, created an annual CLE event, and helped grow the firm from 7-figures to 8-figures and the staff in San Antonio from 3 to 30.
2022 was my final year serving as co-chair of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) Plaintiff Firm SIG where I helped plan beneficial plaintiff / B2C programs and raise awareness for plaintiff firms within LMA.
My legal marketing experience includes exclusive B2B (referral attorney) marketing with law firms across the nation, CLE event planning, brand recognition, client engagement, podcast management and analytics, and direct mail marketing.
I'm also a proud wife and mom. This photo is why I started my business.
